Description Large Chinese porcelain charger / decorative plate, hand-decorated in overglaze enamels (famille rose / fencai), featuring a multi-figure scene inspired by the classic Chinese novel “Dream of the Red Chamber” (Hong Lou Meng). The central composition shows elegantly dressed ladies in a garden setting with rocks, flowers and a balustrade, accompanied by calligraphy and a red seal mark. The border is richly decorated with stylised floral and scroll motifs in bright polychrome enamels, making it an impressive display piece.
