Seiko - Seiko Champion Calendar 860 - Ohne mindestpreis - Herren - 1964

This watch is a vintage Seiko Champion Calendar 860, produced in the early to mid-1960s, during a period when Seiko was establishing its reputation for reliable and well-engineered mechanical wristwatches. The Champion series occupied an important position in Seiko’s lineup, offering higher refinement than standard models while remaining accessible and practical for everyday use. The Calendar 860 represents this philosophy clearly, combining restrained elegance with solid mechanical construction. The silver dial features applied dot hour markers and sharp dauphine-style hands, resulting in a clean, symmetrical, and highly legible design. A framed date window at 3 o’clock adds functionality without disturbing the overall balance of the dial. This model is equipped with a manual-winding mechanical movement with 17 jewels, incorporating Seiko’s Diashock shock-protection system, a key technical feature of the era. Date adjustment is performed by rotating the hands (non-quickset system), which is typical for watches of this period. As a vintage watch, it was running at the time of listing. However, stable long-term operation and time accuracy are not guaranteed. Water resistance is not guaranteed. The stainless steel case shows light signs of age consistent with normal use. The dial remains original. The watch is fitted with a new, unused leather strap, offering a comfortable and classic appearance suitable for daily wear. The watch will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking to ensure safe delivery.
