Elena Walch's Pinot Noir is a young red, with a fresh and fragrant profile. A red that expresses the most immediate and fruity face of the famous Burgundy grape variety, seeking above all to highlight the elegant varietal aromas, with delicate vinification and refinement with a light use of wood. A triumph of berries, floral and spicy nuances, which conquers from the first sip for the extraordinary gustatory harmony and pleasantness of drinkability. Pinot Noir is the son of one of the international grape varieties that have best adapted to the soil and climate conditions of Alto Adige. Demanding and difficult to grow, Pinot Noir has found a perfect habitat in the beautiful sunny exposures and cool climate, especially in the area of ​​Egna, Montagna, Mazzon and Gleno. Elena Walch's vineyards are located at an altitude of between 400 and 600 meters above sea level, with a south-east or south-west exposure and are grown on predominantly calcareous soils with porphyry components. Fermentation takes place in steel vats with maceration on the skins lasting about 10 days. The wine ages partly in steel and partly in large 22-hectoliter oak barrels and completes its refinement with a few months in the bottle before being released for sale.
