Inna Etuvgi - A DREAM – Special Matted Edition
A DREAM
Special Matted Edition (4/25)
ready to frame fine art print by Inna Etuvgi
DESCRIPTION:
“It’s a dream — you need to let it go. Hold on too tightly, and it may burst, fragile as a bubble in your hands.”
"A Dream" is a poignant reflection on our uneasy relationship with our desires. Often, dreams frighten us more than problems because they demand change. This work visualizes the delicate tension between protecting a vision and having the courage to release it into reality. Through the lens of Cybernetic Animism, Inna Etuvgi externalizes this internal vulnerability, creating a bridge between the digital image and a deeply felt human experience.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Inna Etuvgi is a Swedish-Chukchi artist whose work defines the concept of Cybernetic Animism—a bridge between indigenous Arctic intuition and technical precision. Raised in a remote village in Chukotka and trained in technical cybernetics, Etuvgi explores the shared "soul" of natural ecosystems and digital algorithms.
Living with Aphantasia—the inability to visualize mental images—Etuvgi uses her camera and Generative AI as a "visual prosthesis" to externalize deep emotional landscapes. Her macro photography magnifies nature’s smallest details, urging a shift from a human-centered worldview to one of interconnectedness.
Internationally recognized as an Arte Laguna Prize finalist (Venice) and a recipient of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee grant, Etuvgi’s work is held in private collections worldwide. As art critic Tabish Khan notes: “Her work transports us to other worlds—both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature.”
