Tisch/Schreibtischuhren - Porzellan - 1980-1990

Vintage collectible clock with Franz Hermle 12-jewel movement and fine porcelain stamp, produced between 1950–1960. The clock strikes the gong on the hour, counting the exact number of hours (at 3 o’clock it strikes 3 times, at 4 o’clock 4 times, at 12 o’clock 12 times) and once at every half hour. A rare collectible piece, inspired by the Marie Antoinette period, featuring an exquisite Rococo-style design and a high-quality 12-jewel Franz Hermle movement, made in Germany. At the top, it bears a royal emblem (coat of arms), not a sun motif. It has been reinforced with a durable grey adhesive, barely visible when displayed. This is how it was originally acquired.
