Unusually Large hand Embroided door hanging Toran from the 50's. Bought by myself in Puskar in the 80's. The Toran features Ganesh at the center with Krishna and Laksmi at the sides Sorrounded by, naively drawn birds, animals and flowers. Very bright and cheerful colour palette. Created as a door hanging the Toran is a very adaptable textile. It looks great above a bed or a sofa or door surround. There are few small hanging loops at the upper part. The condition as you can see in the pictures. There are some little holes most of them at the upper edge. The left edge is frayed. And the back side had some tears that doesn't not affect the front as the Toran had at list 2 lawyers.
