Inna Etuvgi - The Last Mask - Exhibition Selection - Studio Trial Edition (ST 1/2)

THE LAST MASK Exhibition Selection | Studio Trial Edition (ST 1/2) Medium: Giclée print on premium Hahnemühle Baryta Satin paper. “Does the last mask exist? The last protective layer? What is behind it? This work is a journey into the depth of the self, where the line between social interfaces and inner truth begins to blur.” CONCEPT "The Last Mask" is a pivotal piece from the "Secret Garden" collection—a digital realm reflecting the inner sanctuary where pretenses fall away and the inner child roams free. The artwork explores the complexity of social roles. Some we choose, some we control, and others are driven by deep natural instincts. Through this surreal portrait, Inna Etuvgi asks: who are you when you are alone with your inner intentions? It is a meditation on the dreams that shape our tomorrow and the layers we shed to reach them. EDITION NOTE: STUDIO TRIAL (ST 1/2) This specific lot is a unique Studio Trial (ST 1/2). Created during the artist’s research phase for the London exhibition, this print was used to test the tonal depth on Hahnemühle Baryta Satin paper. It is slightly darker than the main edition, offering an even more profound, mysterious atmosphere. As a Studio Trial, this print is an authentic artifact of the creative process. It was personally selected by the artist to represent the "Secret Garden" series and was part of the selection for the Boomer Gallery exhibition in London. TECHNICAL DETAILS Paper: Hahnemühle Baryta Satin (Museum-quality, known for its exceptional tonal range). Status: Studio Trial (ST 1/2). Dimensions: Image size 40x40cm, total paper size 43x43cm. Authenticity: Signed, titled, and marked ST 1/2 by Inna Etuvgi on the lower margin. Includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Condition: As a Studio Trial (ST), this print has been handled in the studio for color testing and research. It shows minor signs of the artistic process, including a faint surface mark (visible on the close photo), which is reflected in its status as a unique trial proof. SHIPPING: Secure Delivery to Pick-up Point. To ensure maximum safety, your artwork is shipped in heavy-duty, reinforced protective tube (diameter 10 cm). The parcel will be delivered to your nearest official pick-up point. * Identification required: You must present a valid ID to collect your parcel. * Mandatory inspection: Please inspect the packaging for any signs of damage (punctures, dents, or opening) before accepting it from the clerk. * In case of damage: If the packaging is compromised, please file a damage report with the service point employee immediately or refuse the collection. This is essential for insurance claims and replacements. ABOUT THE ARTIST Inna Etuvgi is a Swedish-Chukchi artist whose work defines the concept of Cybernetic Animism—a bridge between indigenous Arctic intuition and technical precision. Raised in a remote village in Chukotka and trained in technical cybernetics, Etuvgi explores the shared "soul" of natural ecosystems and digital algorithms. Living with Aphantasia—the inability to visualize mental images—Etuvgi uses her camera and Generative AI as a "visual prosthesis" to externalize deep emotional landscapes. Her macro photography magnifies nature’s smallest details, urging a shift from a human-centered worldview to one of interconnectedness. Internationally recognized as an Arte Laguna Prize finalist (Venice) and a recipient of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee grant, Etuvgi’s work is held in private collections worldwide. As art critic Tabish Khan notes: “Her work transports us to other worlds—both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature.”
