New crystal, full weekday display, and dolphin caseback. A classic mid-60s Seiko in very good condition. Model History: The Seikomatic Weekdater series, introduced in the mid-1960s, was part of Seiko's ambition to produce high-quality automatic watches with calendar complications at an affordable price. The 6206-8100 model, manufactured in September 1965, featured both day and date displays—an advanced feature for its time. Powered by the 26-jewel Caliber 6206, it was one of the earliest Seiko movements to integrate a full weekday window at 6 o’clock alongside the date at 3. These watches were often recognized by their elegant proportions, dolphin caseback motif, and durable build quality, targeted at Japan’s growing professional class.
