This older pendant has a nice massive 18K golden mount, surrounding the whole pendant. Estimated gold weight: 2 gram. Hard to find ! Provenance: from the estate of a deceased former collector of small jades in the Netherlands. The carved stone, set in 18K gold, has been identified as jadeite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color.
