Each set includes the complete series of 8 circulating euro coins (from 1 cent to 2 euros). 2008 Sets These are part of Cyprus’s first collector series dedicated to the national side of the euro coins. The 2008 issue highlights the cruciform figurine of Pomos (circa 3000 BC) from the Chalcolithic period, a symbolic example of prehistoric Cypriot art. 2009 Set The 2009 issue marks the beginning of a series dedicated to the famous Paphos mosaics, listed as UNESCO World Heritage. The packaging features mythological couples from the House of Dionysos, reflecting Roman-period Cyprus and its rich artistic heritage. All coins are uncirculated, preserved in their original mint packaging, and were not released for circulation.
