High volume is a normal and expected characteristic of genuine gold leaf. ( if not : you're getting copper with a density of 8,5–9 g/cm³ ) For visual reference: 10 grams of genuine gold leaf flakes represent approximately 8 adult hands full of flakes, as shown in the photos, covering an area of about 25 × 20 x 6cm when spread out (lighter and ruler used for scale).
