An artifact, created from scratch as a stylization of an ancient relief. The work is made of plaster /cement mix - painted in two layers using the craquelure technique. The base layer is a noble gray color. Over it, a black paint was applied, which, upon drying, became covered with an exquisite network of cracks. The light gray base effectively shows through these cracks, creating a feeling of multi-layered depth and age. It is this contrast that makes the sculpture lively and textured. The finished work is coated with a matte varnish, which dulls the shine and completes the image of a "stone" relief, as if it had just been unearthed during excavations. On the back, a sturdy metal hook is provided for wall mounting. This relief brings a spirit of antiquity to the interior - like a fragment of the Temple of Apollo, transported into a modern home.
