Tempo tsuho (天保通宝) is a coin circulated in Japan from the end of the Edo period to the first half of the Meiji period (1868-1912). It is also called Tempo sen (天保銭). The shape is oval, reminiscent of koban coins, with a square hole in the center, “Tenpo Tsuho” on the front, “Touhyaku 當百” on the back, and the Kaneza Goto family's seal on the bottom cast in the upper part. The material is an alloy made mainly of copper, which also contains lead and tin.
Total of 8 sets.
There are some rust and dirt, but these are in a better state of preservation.
The old of use is so beautiful and wonderful.
