Description
Attributed to the Late Medieval period (ca. 13th–15th century AD), this authentic finger ring is crafted from a copper-based alloy (bronze) and distinguished by its rare double-stone (twin-bezel) configuration. The solid hoop and clearly defined raised settings demonstrate a robust and confident form, characteristic of medieval rings intended to convey status, authority, and personal distinction.
The two inset stones, preserved in notably good condition, retain their tonal contrast despite centuries of burial and use. Such preservation is uncommon among medieval stone-set rings and significantly enhances both the visual impact and collectability of the piece. The careful integration of the stones into the bezel suggests deliberate craftsmanship rather than purely decorative intent.
