Ancient Egyptian faience figure made between the Late Period - Ptolemaic Period (664 BC - 30 BC) in Egypt. Known as shabti, ushabti or ushebti, it depicts a mummiform with elongated body, a false Osirian beard, tripartite wig and arms folded at the chest keeping ancient tools. Artifact has undergone a professional cleaning process to highlight beautiful blue glaze and details of the figurę without removing all originally preserved earthen sediments on its surface. * Shabtis played a very significant role in ancient Egyptian culture.
