Beautiful set of table/bedside lamps in a good condition. The base of the armatures is crafted from polished brass metal, with patina in line with their age, from which a transparant perspex body emerges. From certain angles, this creates the illusion that the cover is 'floating in the air'. On top of the perspex mid-section, a brass ornament is mounted, leading to the sockets of the lamps. The high quality linen covers have a cream color with a subtle decorative pattern, and a gold-colored decorative ring at the bottom and top side, matching the armatures of the lamps. When the lights are switched on, the covers creates a nice warm glow. One of the covers has a stain on one edge, as can be seen in the pictures. Both lamps are in a perfectly working order.
