Gladiator (2000) Storyboards and Visual Concept by Sylvain Despretz & Production Call Sheets (Copy) Complete storyboard collection including 72 pages and also includes 60 pages of Call Sheets with maps, shooting descriptions and cast call timesStoryboards created for the film by Sylvain Despretz Including gladiator and helmet design concepts Accompanied by Production Call Sheets with maps and shooting details Gladiator is a 2000 epic historical drama directed by Ridley Scott, following the story of Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russell Crowe), a betrayed Roman general forced into slavery who rises as a gladiator while seeking vengeance against Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix). This 72-page storyboard set by Sylvain Despretz illustrates key battle and arena sequences, visual compositions and early design concepts for gladiators and helmets, offering insight into the film’s visual development. Included are Production Call Sheets featuring daily schedules, cast and crew call times, location information and production maps. For collectors, the combination of storyboards and call sheets provides both the creative blueprint and the logistical record of the film’s production, making this a highly desirable and comprehensive archive piece from one of modern cinema’s most iconic epics. Did you know? Our scripts come directly from the USA. They are easy to recognize because they have the standard U.S. paper size. Typically, people use A4-sized paper (297mm in height) to make fan copies of scripts. This paper size is not used in the United States; they use letter-sized paper (279mm in height). This is noticeable because this scripts usually have black lines at the top and bottom, showing that the original paper size used to copy (any American script) is smaller than A4. Also, our scripts have been preserved under the strictest climate control standards in HVAC-R conditions, both during storage and throughout the packaging process. As a result, a label is applied after sealing them, as shown in the photos. They are bound in the same way that vault copies of scripts are preserved, without any oxidizable materials that could damage the paper. They are carefully packed in bubble wrap and placed in a cardboard box to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.
