A large Chinese monochrome blue, gilt and famille verte 'Flowers' punch bowl. China, Qing dynasty, late 18th or 19th century. Very rare, particularly with no damages! Bowl finely potted with round walls and short tapering foot. Exterior under powder blue glaze, decorated with gilt and red flowers under rococo-style gilded band. Interior with famille verte palette, large floering peony in the center, band of flowers and scrolls in red, yellow, green and gold under the top-rim. Daylight pictures included. Dimensions: diameter (max, as the bowl is not perfectly round) - 31 cm; height - 12,8 cm. Weight - 2390 g. Provenance: private collection, Paris, France. Conditions report: excellent condition, no damages. Minor wear to the painted decoration, particularly gilding.
