- Nekhbet was a significant figure associated with motherhood, protection, and divine royalty. She is often paired with the cobra goddess Wadjet (protector of Lower Egypt). Together, they are known as the "Two Ladies," representing the unified sovereignty of Egypt. The vulture symbol was frequently used in royal titles and as a protective deity worn on the brows of pharaohs.

- Silver was rare in ancient Egypt, more precious than gold. Imported from western Asia, it continued to be rare, and on lists of valuables, items of silver were listed above those of gold until the New Kingdom.
