Schöner Chondrit-Meteorit mit Fusionkruste und vielen sichtbaren Stein-Chondren - 1606 g

----- Description : ----- I am pleased to offer this chondrite meteorite weighing 1606 grams, discovered in Morocco in 2025. The specimen preserves part of its original black fusion crust, formed during the meteorite’s intense passage through Earth’s atmosphere. One area of the surface displays well-developed regmaglypts, the characteristic thumbprint-like depressions commonly found on meteorites. These natural features were created as the exterior melted and ablated during atmospheric entry. One face of the meteorite lacks fusion crust and reveals the internal stone matrix, where numerous stony chondrules can be clearly observed. These small spherical structures formed in the early solar system more than 4.5 billion years ago and are the defining feature of chondritic meteorites. This specimen offers an attractive combination of fusion crust, regmaglypts, and visible chondrules, making it both scientifically interesting and visually appealing. “Large Moroccan Chondrite Meteorite – 1606 g Individual with Fusion Crust, Regmaglypts and Visible Chondrules” ----- Meteorite Details : ----- Meteorite type: Ordinary chondrite Origin: Morocco Year found: 2025 Observed fall: No ----- Offered Specimen : ----- Weight: 1606 g Shape: Natural individual Surface features: Partial fusion crust and regmaglypts Structure: Interior matrix with numerous visible stony chondrules ------ History & Presentation : ------ This meteorite was discovered in the Moroccan desert in 2025. Parts of the specimen still retain their original fusion crust, while one surface naturally exposes the interior structure. The exposed matrix clearly reveals numerous stony chondrules, small spherical grains that formed in the protoplanetary disk during the earliest stages of the solar system. The contrast between the dark fusion crust, the regmaglypted surface, and the chondrule-rich interior provides an excellent view of the meteorite’s extraterrestrial origin. ------ Authenticity : ------ Guaranteed authentic Moroccan chondrite meteorite. A large natural specimen displaying fusion crust, regmaglypts and visible chondritic structure formed at the beginning of the solar system.
