This one has a special mechanism that just requires the twist of the barrel to unveil one of the 2 available colors: black and red. The pen uses commonly available D1 refills that can be obtained at any books and pens shop, as well as online. I believe this is a great pen for the ones looking to complete their set and match it with their fountain pen or just looking to use and collect special ballpoint pens (due to the mechanism, esthetics and quality). It shows no signs of use apart from a few spots on the clip, being very shiny and behaving perfectly.
