Salin Mobler - Aksel Kjersgaard - Zeitungsständer - Teakholz

Dear Bidders, Thank you for your interest in my offer. You are bidding here on a vintage Danish magazine rack designed by Aksel Kjersgaard for Salin Møbler, Denmark, circa 1960s. The piece is crafted from beautifully grained teak with softly rounded, sculptural frames that are characteristic of high-quality Danish cabinetmaking of the mid-century period. The rack features suspended dark leather sling compartments, creating an elegant contrast with the warm tone of the wood while allowing magazines or newspapers to hang naturally. Aksel Kjersgaard was known for his refined craftsmanship and attention to detail, producing furniture and accessories that combine functional design with subtle elegance. Salin Møbler collaborated with several notable Danish designers during the mid-20th century and produced pieces in the classic Scandinavian modern style. A stylish and practical example of Danish mid-century modern design, ideal for a living room, reading corner, or office interior.
