Dial and Hands
The vertically brushed champagne dial is a study in mid-century elegance, featuring a subtle texture that plays beautifully with the light. It is adorned with crisp black applied baton indices and matching black stick hands, ensuring excellent legibility against the lightly textured background. The classic serif Longines typography is complemented by the applied gold-tone winged hourglass logo, with the Swiss Made designation neatly positioned at six o'clock. The dial remains attractive, though it does show some wear consistent with age upon close inspection.
Case and Crystal
The 30 mm gold-plated cushion case features an elegant, slim profile with straight, angled lugs. The transition between the case flanks and the bezel is well-defined, showing honest signs of vintage wear, including light surface marks and slight softening of the plating consistent with its age. The crown shows expected wear to its fluting. A domed acrylic crystal protects the dial, presenting clearly with only faint handling marks. The stainless steel caseback is vertically brushed and bears the serial number 17573780 along with the Stainless Steel Back text, while the interior is beautifully finished with perlage and stamped with the reference 1054.
Movement
Powering this elegant timepiece is the Longines Caliber L847.3, a beautifully finished 17-jewel manual-wind movement. Close inspection of the brushed bridges reveals the clear Longines Swiss engravings and the movement serial number 52713814, which dates the watch to the mid-1970s. The movement presents cleanly with well-preserved rubies and crisp geartrain components. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. The timegrapher results indicate a performance of -10 to -14 seconds per day.
Strap
The watch is fitted with a striking burgundy leather strap, featuring distinctive contrasting yellow and brown stitching that adds a touch of character to the classic design. It is secured with a standard gold-tone pin buckle.
Condition
This Longines is presented in excellent vintage condition. The dial shows some wear in line with its age but remains appealing, retaining much of its vintage charm. The case retains its charming vintage character with normal, age-appropriate handling marks and honest surface wear to the gold-plated finish, particularly near the lug edges. The movement is clean and demonstrates outstanding mechanical health for a watch of its era.
Dimensions
The case measures 30 mm in diameter, excluding the crown.

This Longines dress watch offers a perfect blend of sophisticated vintage proportions and reliable Swiss mechanics. The combination of the textured champagne dial, the slim cushion case, and the robust manual-wind caliber makes it an excellent choice for the discerning collector seeking a versatile and elegant vintage timepiece.
