Omega - 320 Chronograph 18K Solid Gold - OT-2872-16 - Herren - 1960

Rare and Elegant Vintage Omega Chronograph – 18k Gold, 1960: This refined vintage Omega chronograph, dating from the early 1960s, is a prime example of Swiss haute horlogerie. Housed in a classic 34.5mm 18k rose gold case (ref. OT-2872-16), it combines timeless elegance with Omega's technical excellence. Movement: Powered by Omega's Caliber 320, a hand-winding chronograph with 17 jewels. Introduced in the 1940s and developed in collaboration with Lemania, the Cal. 320 is the two-digit descendant of the renowned Cal. 321. It features a column-wheel movement, prized for its smooth chronograph operation and mechanical refinement. The movement is clean, well-preserved, and in excellent working condition, and all chronograph functions function precisely. Dial: Original, signed Omega, with applied gold hour markers, a classic sector layout, and two recessed subdials: a small seconds at 9 o'clock and a 30-minute subdial with a chronograph counter at 3 o'clock. The dial is complemented by gold-plated dauphine hands and a central chronograph seconds hand. Case: Solid 18-karat rose gold case, reference number OT-2872-16, in very good original condition, featuring Swiss gold hallmarks. Elegant lugs and sharp case lines give it a refined, vintage character. The original crown and chronograph pushers are gold-plated, enhancing the warm hue of the case. Crystal: Acrylic. Strap: Original Omega Vintage, original Omega clasp. Original Omega Red Box Dimensions: Diameter without crown: 34.5 mm Diameter with crown: 36.7 mm Lug to lug: 42 mm Thickness: 11.6 mm Lug width: 18 mm Weight (with strap): 42.2 g Condition: Movement: Recently serviced, functions reliably and keeps time well. Dial: Original in very good condition, with minor patina spots as shown in the photos. Case: In very good vintage condition. This is a rare, vintage Omega chronograph in 18k solid rose gold, powered by the sought-after caliber 320, a historic movement produced in smaller numbers than its caliber. It is the successor to the 321. A refined and collectible piece of Swiss watchmaking history, perfect for discerning collectors and enthusiasts. The watch is sold in the original Omega box shown in the photos. Tracked and insured shipping 20 EUR (European Union) 50 EUR (Worldwide)
