These colorful lithographic posters were printed by Erie Litho & Printing Co., Erie, Pennsylvania, one of the primary printers of American circus advertising during the Golden Age of traveling circuses. The poster depicts the famous Allen Sisters performing an equestrian balancing act atop a galloping horse, a classic bareback circus stunt that was a major attraction in mid-20th century circus shows.
