Dear Bidders, thank you for your interest in my offer. I'm offering here a beautiful set of 3 porcelain vases designed by Hans Achtziger for Hutschenreuther. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: The German designer Hans Achtziger ( 1918-2003 ) was a student at the State Technical School for the Porcelain Industry in Selb from 1937 to 1939 and joined the art department at Hutschenreuther for a short time in 1946. From 1946 to 1948, he studied at the School of Building and Crafts in Munich (under Hans Panzer), but then returned to Hutschenreuther. In 1959, Achtziger became a member of the German Werkbund; in 1972, he was appointed Director of the Art Department at Hutschenreuther, and in 1980 he was assigned to product management in the shapes and decoration studio. SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * Made in Germany Hutschenreuther * Designed by Hans Achtziger * Material : porcelain * Measurements: approx. 26cm and 2x21cm * Please watch carefully all the pictures, they are also a part of description ( each one can be enlarged ) * I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc. - Any major damage -s is / are ALWAYS shown in the photos - * Please remember about Catawiki’s rules and make a payment maximally within 3 days after auction end The vases will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ). IMPORTANT: If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat. According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation. In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment. Please don’t bid if you don’t accept that.
