External covers with some faded marks, and light wear to corners, and edges. Minor rubbings to head and foot of spine. Internally; in good condition. Old awarded prize label dated 1891 on the blank page facing the title page. Inner hinges are very good. Pages are tightly held at the gutter and edged in gilt. Pages are clean with light foxing marks to the margin of some pages. The colour plates are particularly vivid and striking (Please see pictures).
