The jet-black finish and delicate openwork carving on the central back panel further enhance the beauty of the displayed sword. Product Features Sophisticated Single-Tier Design: Specifically designed to display a single sword. It allows long swords (uchigatana) and tachi to take center stage, bringing a dignified Japanese atmosphere to the space. Traditional Design: The back panel connecting the support pillars features intricate openwork carving, showcasing the craftsman's skill, giving it the appearance of a work of art even when no sword is displayed. Superior Stability: The horizontal, freestanding design with a sturdy base safely holds your valuable sword. Ideal for display, or for storing iaido swords or replica swords. Multipurpose Use: Suitable not only for Japanese swords, but also for displaying tanto, wakizashi, or even art objects such as matchlock guns, wooden swords, and ivory. Points to Note When Displaying a Sword This is the general method for beautifully displaying a single sword. Orientation: When viewed from the front, the standard placement is with the hilt (handle) on the left and the tip (kissaki) on the right. Blade Orientation: Uchigatana (long sword): Display with the blade facing upwards, just as when worn at the waist. Tachi (long sword): Display with the blade facing downwards, following the style of hanging and wearing the sword. Care: Wooden stands dislike sudden drying or humidity. Place them in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. The product may be disassembled for shipping to prevent damage. Reassembly is easy. 39*21*15cm 892g (I1702)
