Kreminne - - Knopfakkordeon - Ukraine - 1974

The Story: Resilience & Culture This is more than a musical instrument; it is a symbol of resilience. This "Kreminne" bayan comes from a children’s music school in Chernihiv, Ukraine. In 2022, when the city was under heavy shelling, the teachers refused to leave. They stayed to protect the school and their heritage. They stood their ground and endured. The person playing in the video is that very teacher—a hero who protected these instruments during the darkest days of the siege. This bayan survived because people cared enough to save it. The Factory: Progressive Engineering The Kreminne musical instrument factory (Ukraine) was one of the most technologically advanced and innovative facilities in the USSR. Established in the early 1930s, by the 1970s it had reached its peak, known for high-quality production, robust mechanics, and professional-grade finishes. These instruments were built for longevity and were the gold standard for music education. Technical Specifications: Type: Chromatic Button Accordion (B-System) Origin: Ukraine (Kreminne Factory) Date of Manufacture: September 3, 1974 (Original factory label included) Treble: 55 buttons Bass: 100 buttons Weight: 9.5 kg / 21 lbs Dimensions: 39 × 37 × 18 cm (15.4" × 14.6" × 7.1") Condition: Very good vintage playing condition. The bellows retain excellent compression. The reeds respond evenly with a warm, authentic tone. Condition Details: Shows an honest cosmetic patina from 50 years of history. There are two very small, discreet professional regulated spots on the lower body (visible in photos) to protect from friction wear—these are practically invisible and have zero impact on sound or playability. Video of the actual instrument: https://youtube.com/shorts/QRWFaLpycfQ Shipping & Delivery: Carrier: Ukrposhta (International Air Mail with tracking). EU Countries: 12–15 business days. North America: 12–21 business days. Rest of the World: Depends on the destination (please contact for details). Packaging: Professional multi-layer cushioning (Hard case + shock-absorbing materials + heavy-duty cardboard). I have extensive experience shipping fragile musical instruments globally. Important: Customs duties and import taxes (VAT) are the responsibility of the buyer. The reserve price is set lower to account for these potential costs for international collectors.
