These chairs are crafted from steam-bent beechwood, a technique made famous by Thonet, resulting in their characteristic uflowing lines and lightweight yet sturdy construction. The elongated oval backrest with central ring detail gives these chairs their distinctive and timeless appearance. Both chairs feature woven cane seats and backs, which are in good condition and provide comfort as well as visual elegance. The warm dark wood finish has developed a pleasant patina over time, adding to their vintage character. Condition: Good vintage condition. Structurally solid. Cane work intact with minor signs of use and small demage, consistent with age.
