Large historical stamp collection from Austria and Hungary, covering the period from approximately 1858 to 1945. The lot includes a wide range of classic issues from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, including stamps featuring Emperor Franz Joseph I, early coat of arms designs, and later Hungarian issues (Magyar Posta). A significant part of the collection consists of unused (mint) stamps, alongside used examples with cancellations. This mixed condition makes the lot especially interesting for collectors and dealers. Also included are various overprinted stamps (e.g. “Köztársaság” and “Sürgős”), representing transitional postal periods after the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Condition: mixed (mint & used). Some stamps show signs of age, typical for classic material. Gum condition for mint stamps may vary (see photos for detailed impression).
