Wonderful antique Jumeau doll. She stands around 51 cm tall. She has deep blue paperweight eyes, a closed mouth and pierced ears. Blue eyes are less commonly found than brown eyes. She is marked with the red Depose Tete Jumeau stamp and with an incised ''D''. This D is one of the special commission marks for Paris department and doll shops. All the dolls from the special commission series have a bit different expression than the regular Tete Jumeau dolls. It is unknown for which store the dolls marked ''D'' were made. This mark is quite rare to find. She wears a antique Jumeau chemise dress with red flowers, which adds to her value. The condition of the dress is quite good, except there is a stain which has been photographed. Her wig is a antique human hair wig. She has her most likely original corkpate. Her boots are very nice, possibly antique. They are marked with a clover. Unfortunately she has some damage at her forehead. Please see the pictures. This does not affect her beauty. Her body is in a very good condition and original to the doll. It has no repaint, which is quite rare nowadays. It has a blue Jumeau stamp at the back. Please see all the pictures.
