Guyatone - Effektpedal - Japan - 1982 (Ohne mindestpreis)

Brand: Guyatone Model: PS-001 Distortion Type: Effect pedal Made in: Japan Serial number: 8211729 Colour: Black Complete set with original box and original warranty card – extremely rare, especially in this condition. This is an early 1980s Japan vintage Guyatone PS-001 Distortion, an early production model from the golden era of Japanese effects. Units in this level of preservation are almost never seen, even within Japan. This particular unit is exceptionally well-preserved and appears to have had little to no actual use since its production. The pedal has been carefully cleaned and properly tested. It operates correctly with both a 9V battery and an adapter. Due to long-term storage, slight oxidation was present in the LEVEL, BALANCE, and DISTORTION potentiometers. These have been professionally cleaned, and the pedal now operates smoothly with no unwanted noise. All electronic components remain original, maintaining full historical authenticity and collector value. Condition: Outstanding condition for its age, with only minimal surface marks from storage. It is extremely rare to find a PS-001 in such clean, near-unused condition. Please refer to the photos. Includes: Original box Original warranty card Estimated production period: 1982 (early 1980s, circa 1982–1983). Dating has been carefully verified through component analysis: IC: UA1458CTC (date code 8116 → 1981 production) Electrolytic capacitors: Marcon CE-US series (dated 1982) Circuit board: EPK-154A (consistent with early PS-series production) All components are fully consistent with an early 1980s original unit. This example represents an early production PS-series pedal with a fully original 1982 component set and excellent consistency across all internal parts — a highly desirable specification for collectors. The PS-001 is known for its raw, organic analog distortion character, typical of early Japanese effect design. Compared to later mass-produced pedals, early units like this offer a more authentic and responsive tonal character. Examples in this condition — complete with box, paperwork, and matching component dates — are extremely difficult to source on the market. Please note: Adapter and battery are not included. Shipping method: Carefully packed and shipped from Japan. Shipping is primarily carried out via EMS (Japan Post). Please note that we only ship to countries where EMS service is available from Japan. Orders from countries where EMS shipping is not available may be cancelled. For shipments to the United States, Yamato Transport (International TA-Q-BIN) may be used instead. Delivery methods may vary depending on the destination country, shipping conditions, and service availability. Shipping costs are to be paid by the buyer. Import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, and any additional charges are the responsibility of the buyer. Please note that import regulations may vary depending on the destination country. Some items may be restricted or subject to specific import conditions in certain countries (including parts of the EU). By placing a bid, the buyer agrees to check and comply with all applicable import regulations and requirements in their country. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that the selected shipping method is available in their country. The seller cannot be held responsible for delays, refusals, or additional charges caused by customs regulations. Orders may be cancelled if shipping or import conditions cannot be met. We do not ship to P.O. BOX, APO, or FPO addresses.
