The background has a soft, warm gold tone (with gold leaf/gold dust texture), expressing the quiet elegance of traditional Japanese aesthetics. “U (卯)” represents the Rabbit in the Chinese zodiac. Labels with the artist’s and publisher’s information are present on the frame backing and original box. The piece is preserved in its original complete framing.
