This collection consists of 18 wooden admission tags from Gero Onsen (下呂温泉), one of Japan’s three most famous hot springs. These traditional passes are known as 湯めぐり手形 (Yumeguri Tegata) and were originally used to visit multiple hot spring baths. Each tag is made of natural wood and features printed Japanese text along with stamped dates and signs of actual use. Some pieces include decorative cords and small bells, adding to their authentic and traditional appearance. Variations in wood grain and aging give each tag a unique character. These items are used/expired and are no longer valid for entry. They are best suited as decorative items, collectibles, or cultural souvenirs representing Japanese onsen culture. Condition is good overall, with typical wear such as scratches, fading, and marks from handling and use.
