An expressive and finely crafted figure of Yama made of gilt bronze.

The figure wears a bright gold and the ears of Yama are inlaid with turquoises.

The depiction shows Yama standing in a dynamic pose on a bull. Particularly noteworthy is the rare hand gesture, which distinguishes this figure from many other representations. The main figure (upper section) is solid cast.
The original facial painting (on Yama, the bull, and the human) is still partially preserved, emphasizing the authenticity and age of the piece.
