This is a superb sounding instrument, also very beautiful in appearance. The softly flamed two pieces maple back measures 356 mm. The total length of the violin is 588 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 163 mm; middle bouts: 110 mm; lower bouts: 202 mm. Straight high grained spruce top, golden brown varnish over lighter ground. This violin is in a good used condition, with some small professionally repaired cracks on top and sides, grafted scroll, new rosewood pegs and new strings. Beautiful model with a very elegant natural amber patina, very high quality of woods, perfect details all over. The sound is very powerful, sweet, mellow and rich.
