Kongo 2006 Eulen-Goldmünze, 10 Francs, 0,5 g, Feingehalt 999 ‰, Proof/Polierte Platte, kein Echtheitszertifikat oder Box.
Vom Verkäufer bereitgestellte Beschreibung
The Africa Congo 10 Francs miniature gold coin "Owl of Athens" 2006 weighs only ½ gram.
With a fineness of 999‰, it's a tiny, very pretty gold coin in proof condition.
"Carrying owls to Athens"—who hasn't heard that saying? The ancient Greeks considered owls to be clever animals because of their excellent night vision. Thus, they became a symbol of Greece through the goddess Athena. They can be seen on many coins.
The front features a lion, representing the coat of arms of the Congo from 2003 to 2006. A lion's head was the state emblem of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 2003 to 2006. From 2006 onwards, the lion was replaced by a cheetah's head.
