A pre-war Japanese fish-shaped wooden tray, dated April 15, 1935 (Shōwa 10), created as a commemorative souvenir for a pilgrimage to Ise Grand Shrine. This decorative tray is carved in the form of a fish and finished with a deep reddish-brown lacquered surface. The front features an elegant composition combining a stylized fish motif with a traditional Japanese landscape, including a torii gate and distant scenery rendered in gold-colored decoration.
