Bildlauf-Gewichte (6) Antik - Japan - 1970-1980

Description This is a beautiful and diverse collection of Fūchin (traditional Japanese hanging scroll weights). Fūchin are used by attaching them to the wooden knobs (jiku-gi) at the bottom of a Japanese scroll. They provide the necessary weight to help the scroll hang straight and prevent it from fluttering in the wind, while also serving as elegant decorative ornaments. This set includes 6 pairs, each featuring different materials and aesthetics, allowing you to match them perfectly with the season or the theme of your scroll collection. Item Details 1. Black & White Marble: Elegant natural stone with high-contrast veining. 2. Green Glazed Ceramic: Featuring a rustic green base with abstract white slip-decorated motifs. 3. Blue and White Porcelain (Sometsuke): Classic floral patterns on white porcelain, offering a refined, timeless look. 4. Golden-Yellow Onyx/Marble: Warm, honey-colored natural stone with beautiful translucency. 5. Cylindrical Grey Stone: A unique modern shape in a sophisticated matte grey marble finish. 6. Banded Onyx: Stunning natural stone showing distinct, earthy layers and circular patterns. Condition (Important) Main Beads: Excellent vintage condition. No major cracks or chips detected. Tassels & Cords: While the tassels are generally in good, presentable shape, please note that some pairs show signs of age-related fading (sun bleaching/discoloration). Please inspect the high-resolution photos carefully to assess the color condition of the silk/rayon threads before bidding. Size: Approximately 30mm–40mm (Refer to the ruler in photos). Note: No original wooden boxes (Kiribako) included. Shipping & Handling Items will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and securely boxed for international shipping. Tracking number will be provided.
