The title translates to "Phantom Blue Vase with Golden Barley Motif." This is a signature work by Reikichi Kato, one of the most prominent figures in modern Japanese ceramics. The piece is finished with his celebrated "Gensei" (Mystic Blue) glaze, which features an ethereal, textured depth that seems to glow from within.
