Yellow Chartreuse (43°) is smooth and mellow It is made with the same plants as Green Chartreuse, but in different proportions, offering aromas of flowers, honey, and spices. Only two Carthusian monks know the names of the plants and how to combine and distil them. They are also the only ones who know which plants are used to give the natural green and yellow colours. They oversee the slow ageing of the liqueur and decide when it is ready to be bottled. Composition: alcohol, sugar, plants, and flowers. Presentation: Distinctive, simple, and elegant bottle, adorned with the La Grande Chartreuse seal, 35 cl or 70 cl. Tasting: To bring out the aromas, Chartreuse is enjoyed on ice.
