A tall wooden cha’dansu 茶箪笥 (tea cabinet) in two sections, offering generous storage and a refined variety of details.
Crafted from precious keyaki 欅 (Zelkova, Japanese oak) wood, finished in a warm dark brown tone, whereas the fronts veneered of keyaki burl wood with an attractive swirling wood grain.
The upper section is configured with two rows of sliding doors - four smaller ones, and a pair of large glass sliding doors. Behind the glass larger doors you will find a well-balanced interior featuring an elegant S-shaped display shelf, four smaller-sized sliding doors, and an additional open display compartment.
The lower section comprises another pair of sliding doors, and six drawers of varying sizes.
All sliding doors have an elegant finger insert in metal and shaped like chrysanthemums, with a flower engravement, and the drawers are fitted with warabite-shaped bail handles.

Height 175 cm (T 103.4 cm, B 71.6 cm) , Width 90 cm, Depth 39.5 cm.
In good condition with old restorations and traces of use consistent with age, notably on the right upper corner. The drawers of the lower section, can slide deeper inward. Please refer to the photos for a clear condition reference.
