The oak box is marked 'Husbands Optician Bristol'. The set includes a graduated nest of five brass cup weights. Also a wooden storage block holding additional fractional weights. The rich patina of the brass and the warm-grained wooden box make it a striking decorative piece for a study, library, or collector of scientific antiques. Please note that two of the brass weights in the second case are missing. Condition Report: Very good antique condition. The brass components retain an authentic, deep, uncleaned patina. The glass pans are intact with no chips, and the wooden boxes are structurally sound with a working latches.
