The axial skeleton, fin rays, and much of the tail region are clearly visible. The head region is incomplete and partly obscured by residual matrix, with losses and flaking around the cranial area. Several fin elements are well preserved and visually attractive, while some rays are incomplete or interrupted by natural breaks and surface losses. Overall, the specimen is displayable and anatomically readable. Special observations: The specimen shows strongly elongated paired fins and an unusually slender body form, suggesting a flying fish-type teleost like: Exocoetoides minor (?). Preservation is especially appealing in the tail and fin-ray areas. Small associated fish debris / fragmentary remains are present on the slab, adding visual interest but not certainty of association. Additional information: According to the previous owner, this is a fossil fish from the plate-chalk deposits of Lebanon. The specimen had once been an added item / associated piece in a collection, all statements and information will be provided.
