He is internationally renowned for masterpieces such as 5 is the Perfect Number, The Ukrainian Notebooks, The Russian Notebooks, and Quaderni Ucraini. Tuveri combines a cinematic, atmospheric drawing style with journalistic depth and political themes. His work is praised for its beautiful black-and-white technique, strong compositions, and melancholic atmosphere. In addition to comics, he is also a filmmaker and founder of the publishing house Coconino Press. He is regarded as one of the great names of modern European literary comic art.
