Interesting collection of original documents related to a Belgian Freemason connected with the Grand Orient de Belgique and the Souverain Collège du Rite Ecossais pour la Belgique. The lot includes several identity cards, membership documents and Scottish Rite documents belonging to one person. The documents contain photographs of the owner at different stages of his life, official stamps, membership fee stamps and handwritten entries. Of particular interest is the Souverain Collège du Rite Ecossais pour la Belgique identity document with the double-headed eagle symbol and 33rd degree symbolism of the Scottish Rite. The document includes recorded progression through Rite Ecossais degrees up to the 28th degree. Also included are Grand Orient de Belgique documents from the lodge “Sagesse et Raison” (Wavre), reflecting many years of membership in the Belgian Masonic environment during the 1980s–1990s.
