## The Macallan 7 Years Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky – Maxxium Italy Edition (Bottled 2005)
**Detailed Description:**
An exceptionally rare bottle of The Macallan 7 Years Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky, produced exclusively for the Italian market by **Maxxium Italia, Milan**. This is a classic Single Malt from the Easter Elchies distillery in Craigellachie (Speyside), matured exclusively in **selected sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain**, following the traditional Macallan sherry-driven style.
**Vintage and Bottling:**
 * **Distilled:** Circa 1998
 * **Bottled:** 2005 (Lot code E0405)
**Important Note on the Bottling Code:**
The lot code **E0405** (confirming the 2005 bottling) is printed on the inside of the original box. As this is an "age-stated" whisky (not a single cask or vintage-specific release), it is composed of a blend of casks aged for at least 7 years. Consequently, the distillery indicates only the minimum age (7 years) rather than a specific distillation year. However, the lot code allows for precise dating of the bottling.
**Condition Report:**
 * **Fill Level:** High neck / Top shoulder—excellent for a bottle over 20 years old.
 * **Labels:** Front and back labels are in excellent condition, perfectly legible with no significant damage.
 * **Capsule/Foil:** Original and intact.
 * **Stopper:** Original cork/cap in excellent condition.
 * **Box:** Original box included, showing standard shelf wear and aging consistent with its age.
**Technical Specifications:**
 * **Volume:** 700 ml
 * **ABV:** 40% alc./vol.
 * **Origin:** Product of Scotland
 * **Exclusive Importer for Italy:** Maxxium Italia, Milan
**Collector's Notes:**
This Maxxium Italy edition represents one of the final **"sherry bomb"** Macallan 7-year-olds in the traditional style, released before the industry's predominant shift toward No Age Statement (NAS) versions. It is highly sought after by both Italian and international collectors of vintage Macallan. The bottle is in an excellent state of preservation, making it ideal for both investment collections and display.
 * **Distillation Period:** late 1990s (c. 1998)
 * **Bottling Period:** 2000s (2005)

The Macallan 7 Years Old Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky – Edizione Maxxium Italia (imbottigliata 2005)
Descrizione dettagliata:
Etichette anteriori e posteriori in ottime condizioni, perfettamente leggibili e senza danni significativi
Capsula / foil originale integra
Tappo originale in ottime condizioni
Dati tecnici:
700 ml
40% alc./vol.
Prodotto di Scozia
Importer esclusivo per l’Italia: Maxxium Italia, Milano
