Ikebana-Vase - Bambus - Japan - Bambus-Ikebana-Korb (Ohne mindestpreis)

Title: Japanese Tiger Bamboo Ikebana Flower Basket with Kenzan Material: Natural Japanese Tiger Bamboo Dimensions: H 23.5 × DIA 16.5 cm (9.3 × 6.5 in) Weight: 358 g Period: Shōwa Period, c. 1960–1970 Accessories: Original black lacquered inner container, brass-pin kenzan (劍山) flower frog This is a traditional hand-woven bamboo flower basket for Japanese ikebana (flower arrangement). Crafted from natural tiger-patterned bamboo using the midare-ami (乱れ編み) free-weave technique, with an exquisitely twisted handle. The bamboo weaving has a natural, expressive texture and sturdy construction, a standard vessel for Japanese ikebana traditions including Seika and Moribana styles. Complete with original black lacquered waterproof inner container and brass-pin alloy-base kenzan (劍山), ready for immediate flower arrangement use. The natural markings of the tiger bamboo are elegant, with a warm, beautifully aged patina. Every weave bears the quiet traces of hand craftsmanship, embodying the essence of traditional Japanese wabi-sabi (侘寂) aesthetic—the profound beauty found in imperfection, simplicity, and the gentle patina of time. A distinguished piece for display in the tea room or study. Structure fully intact, no broken bamboo. Natural signs of use. Overall good condition.
