Antique Chinese Bronze Oil Lamp Base with Patina – Late 19th to Early 20th Century

This antique bronze oil lamp base displays a deeply developed natural patina consistent with considerable age and long-term use. The central wick holder is still present, and remnants of an old wick remain inside.

The openwork decoration around the upper rim and base reflects traditional craftsmanship. The side openings provided ventilation for the flame and also allowed the lamp to be filled with oil.
